June 14th, 2013 - Jon Tesch traveled to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) on Friday evening for the opening round of the 15th Annual Masters at the state-of-the-art oval. With thirty-six entries in the pit area for the $4,000-to-win, Tesch had high hopes for the night after drawing the second starting spot for his heat race. Unfortunately mechanical woes sidelined him in the heat, and after starting on the tail of a b-main he was only able to advance to an eighth place finish, which left him short of earning a transferring spot to the feature. As a result his night came to an early end.
Saturday's program at Cedar Lake Speedway was nixed by rain, and will not be rescheduled.

June 7th, 2011 - Jon entered the first of several events in the Summer Speedweeks tour, which is sanctioned by the Casey's General USMTS tour, on Tuesday night at Huset's Speedway (Huset's, South Dakota). Twenty-one cars entered the event, and Tesch started the night by charging from his sixth starting spot to a third place heat race finish, which put him in the redraw for the feature, where he received the fourth starting spot. He would battle in the top ten for much of the event, before mechanical issues with just four laps remaining in the 40 lap feature forced him pitside to a 12th place finish. June 4th, 2011 - Saturday night was a big night for Jon and the team as he raced his way into victory lane for the first time in 2011 and picked up $3,000 along the way for his efforts. The win came at Junction Motor Speedway (McCool Junction, Nebraska) as Tesch entered the second night of a double shot at the fast oval. With twenty-seven cars on hand heat race action would see Jon move from the fourth starting spot to a second place finish and along the way locked himself into the redraw, where he received the third starting position for the 40 lap feature. He would quickly find his way to the lead in the feature and would go on to claim the big win, which came over Ryan Ruter, Ryan Gustin, Kelly Shryock, and Zack VanderBeek. June 1st, 2011 - Welcome to the newly launched website for Jon Tesch at www.JonTesch.com. The site is designed by MSRMafia.com Marketing Services based in Memphis, Tennessee. Jon pilots his #14 Tesch Motorsports/B&E Concrete/GRT/Sput's Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified on the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) tour and also in various high-profile events across the nation. He is also one of the feature drivers on the hit television program, Dirt Knights.
Tesch was last in action over the Memorial Day weekend as he set out to enter four events in four days. Although Mother Nature would alter the schedule, all four events would be held. The weekend began on Thursday night at Highway 3 Raceway (Allison, Iowa). It would be a rough night for Jon as he would heavily damage a car in heat race action, forcing him to a backup car for b-main action. He would manage to race his way into the main event via the b-main. After starting 22nd on the grid he would battle his way through the pack to finish in the sixth position in the final rundown. Along the way he earned the Mesilla Valley Transportation Hard Charger Award for his efforts.
Friday's event, which was scheduled for Chateau Raceway (Lansing, MN) fell victim to rain and was postponed until Monday evening. As a result the team was next in action on Saturday evening at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, MN) as a stellar field of 62 Open Wheel Modifieds signed in to battle in the $2,000 to win event. The night would start well for Tesch as he won his heat race to lock into the redraw, where he received the fourth starting spot for the 40 lap feature. In the main event, Tesch would find himself at the front of the pack for the duration of the event before registering a third place finish behind race winner, Ryan Gustin, and Jason Hughes.
Sunday's event at Dodge County Speedway (Kasson, MN) would see Mother Nature interfer once again as rains set in before the feature forcing it to be rescheduled to Monday afternoon. Prior to the rain arriving Jon raced from his fourth starting spot to win his heat race, which once again locked him into Monday's afternoon's redraw. In the redraw, Tesch would receive the 4th starting spot. He would quickly work his way forward at the drop of the green flag, and on lap 17 of the 40 lap affair he would race past leader, Tim Donlinger to claim the lead. Over the next several laps Jon would build a sizeable lead and looked to be on his way to a comfortable win before disaster struck with just eleven laps remaining when he received contact from a lap car resulting in a flat tire. He would be forced pitside for fresh rubber and would rejoin the tail of the field to salvage a disappointing 13th place finish.
The team would conclude their busy weekend on Monday night with the rescheduled Chateau Raceway (Lansing, MN) event. Via preliminary action, Jon would earn the 22nd starting position for the 40 lap, $2,000 to win feature. Tesch would drive through the field once again to finish in the eighth spot in the final rundown.
With his weekend performances, Jon is currently second in the Yeager Machine Upper Midwest Region standings behind Ryan Gustin. For full weekend results, please visit www.USMTS.com.
